Quick thinking!

An old farmer had a large pond in the back, fixed up nicely; picnic tables, barbecue pit, horseshoe courts, along with some apple and peach trees.

The pond was properly shaped and fixed up for swimming when it was built.

One evening, the old guy decided to go down to the pond and look it over.

He hadn't been there for a while. He grabbed a five gallon bucket to bring back some fruit.

As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee.

As he came closer, he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny dipping in his pond. As he approached, he made the women aware of his presence.

At once, they all went to the deep end.

One of the women shouted to him, "We're not coming out until you leave."

The old man frowned, "I did not come down here to watch you young ladies swim naked, or to make you get out of the pond naked."

Holding up the bucket, he said, "I'm here to feed the alligator."

Moral: Old men can still think fast.

Are you 100% sure the Universe knows "exactly"
what you desire?

Knowing "exactly" what you desire is "absolutely" essential and there is no way to avoid or to do this step in a half-hearted way.

If you cannot put your hand on your heart and know with a 100% certainty that you have communicated your desires to the Universe in a most detailed and specific way, then you are not ready to receive. It's that simple.

This is not goal setting. This is light years beyond goal setting and is the step that MUST precede "conscious" Visualization and Manifestation.

Survivors

TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED the 1930's 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's !!

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes. Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets…not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking.

As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster seats, seat belts or air bags. Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat. We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle. We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this. We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank koolade made with sugar, but we weren't overweight because ……. WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING !

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on. No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K. We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem. We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet or chat rooms.......WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents. We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever. We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes. We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!

Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!! The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law! These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever! The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL!

If YOU are one of them . . CONGRATULATIONS! You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives for our own good……

And while you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave (and lucky) their parents were.

Kind of makes you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn't it?!

Visualization

Many people have been asking us about visualization. How exactly do we visualize the things we want? Well here is an idea that may work for you. We do this nearly every morning.

From a sitting position extend your arms with your hands open and facing upward.

In fact, stretch your fingers as far apart and backward as you can. Then relax. Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath and exhale. Take another deep breath and exhale.

Do this several times until your body is thoroughly relaxed. With your eyes still closed see what you want.

If that’s a new car, visualize the car you want. See the color and make you’ve asked for. See it in your mind. See the leather seats and CD changer. See yourself driving this car to a big party or an isolated mountain top – whatever appeals to you.

The High Price of Fïnancial Frëedom

This will sound strange but I believe you should have a go at making a few million just for the fun of it.

People who have a one-to-one consultation with me will know that I am fond of asking: "What other plans do you have, apart from trying your very hardest to be all you can be, to fight to dare and to win?"

Let me ask you - what other plans could you possibly have that are more pressing than this? Flipping magazines? Watching some more TV? Drinking down the bar? I'm anxious to hear them...

Surely there is only one plan worth having? At least it seems that way to me. The only plan a rational human being can have is to be all you are capable of being. To push the limits and keep growing until the day you die. To try for that next goal - to shoot for the bigger dream. This is a masterful life. A life filled with power. A life worth living.

But there is a price. The price is a busy life with little time for standard relaxation of the sort engaged in by the poor in pocket and in spirit. It is a 'full to bursting' life with your energies and talents directed purposefully towards positive goals. I'll have a lot to say about goals and dreams throughout these articles. It is a focused life in which you work very hard on things which matter.

That's one price you will have to pay. There are others...

Think Right Now! Series:

I bet you could get addicted to this

Here is a 4 to 5 minute exercise that will make you feel happy, confident, motivated and valuable all at the same time.

You can do it all in 4 to 5 minutes... but only if you do what I say.

4 to 5 minutes...

It will be a 110 volt jumpstart to your day.

Ready?


If you are old enough, think about how you felt when you were out on a date with someone you were head over heals for (your current significant other?) and they were gaga over you, too. Remember how you felt physically, emotionally. See them. They wanted you. Remember touching them. Remember how confident you felt as they laughed at your jokes. How they listened to you. Remember how desirable you felt. How did that feel? Think. Feel it deeply again now.

Don't just read these words - do it. For a few wonderful minutes.

Now think about just one time in the last couple months that you said something YOU thought was brilliant and everyone around agreed with you. Remember how you felt. Accepted. Smart. Worthy. Feel it now again. Smile. Yeah.

Now again change the scene. Take another few seconds and think about some goal/task/objective you had that took an entire day to achieve. You did it. You put your mind and body to it and you did whatever it was that you wanted to do. Smile again. YOU are good. Oh, yeah, you're good! Don't deny it! Feel how good you feel when you think about that job well done.

Now do it again, only think of a time recently that you accomplished something that took a week or so. Any area of your life. Some task or objective that you had to plan and take daily action. And you did it. It doesn't matter what anyone else thought. You did it and you felt proud. Feel it again now.

It doesn't matter if you need to take a little bit to remember a recent event. Take the time. Don't just read this without doing it. That would be pretty pointless, wouldn't it? Remember, imagine and feel the feelings again.

Now think of a job/task that took a year or so to accomplish fully. You did it and you felt great. Remember something like that now. Think about it.

Smile. Remember the positive reactions, the award, the congratulations, the jealousy from others (oh, for now it's OK to gloat - just feel good about what you did, OK?). It took sacrifice, dedication, awareness, lots of thought and time. You kept your eye on the goal. You knew why you were after it and what you'd lose if you failed. This time you kept going no matter what. Smile. Feel how great it was to get where you wanted to go, to accomplish that goal you set for yourself all that time ago. Be aware of the positive feelings.

Is there a time in the past where you excelled in a sport? Then hear the cheers again. The hugs, the tears, the clapping, the ecstasy, the thrill. What does that feel like again?

Recently did you write something you are proud of? A high grade? Then feel the pride right now.

Were you accepted or appreciated by someone in some way recently? What a wonderful rush, huh?

Did some plan come together just right? Did you overcome a major challenge? Make a huge sale? Clap your hands and feel the success even greater than you felt at the time. Give a Tiger Woods power move. That's it. Squeeze your fist and punch the air. Powerful feelings.

Is there something you did in the last year that no one including you thought you could do...

But you did it? Did you yell out loud? Oh, why not do it now again? Feel those victorious feelings again. Put the look on your face you had then. Sit or stand how you did then when you did what you did.

Heart pumping now?

Are you smiling?

Laughing?

Feeling good?

Awesome.

Take these feelings with you wherever you go today and keep thinking about your small and big victories and accomplishments.

You Want More Brainpower - Not Higher IQ Scores!

Okay, maybe you want higher IQ scores too. The American Heritage Dictionary defines Intelligence Quotient as "The ratio of tested mental age to chronological age, usually expressed as a quotient multiplied by 100."

Basically, it's a test of intelligence, with 100 as the average score. There are some problems with IQ tests however.

A recent IQ test asked which of four fruits was different. It was the one with more than one seed; but what if you were not familiar with these fruits? Obviously this test is culturally biased. You are assumed to have certain knowledge, yet you are being tested for intelligence, not knowledge.

Now look at these letters: "ANLDEGN." Rearrange them and you'll have the name of a(n): Ocean, Country, State, City or Animal. This is from an IQ test I took. Hmm... There are very few oceans, so I could eliminate those - but wait a second! That's a test taking technique. An intelligence test shouldn't be testing your test-taking ability. I'm bound to score higher than a person of equal intelligence who hasn't learned simple techniques for scoring higher on multiple - choice tests.

Real Life Results Versus Scores

Now let me ask you a question. What was Henry Fords IQ? Who cares! The man was one of the most innovative people of the last century, and he did what he did by surrounding himself with intelligent people.

That practice alone has to be worth more than 20 IQ points in terms of real life results.

Real life results are what you want, right? So if you want to be more creative, learn to use creative problem solving techniques. If you want to concentrate better, there are techniques for that. Learn to speed-read and you'll have double the knowledge in the same time. After you paint your first Mona Lisa, build your first skyscraper or make your first million, what will your IQ score be? Who cares!?

Okay, an imperfect test is better than no test at all, and it is entertaining. I just took an IQ test, and although I don't think my IQ is really the 138 it showed, it was fun.
